IT IS. they ask me to buy them shit every. single. time. and they run. and think they can take things. and they yell. and touch things they aren’t supposed to. meanwhile here i am looking a teen mom who can’t keep her children in check

yet another reason to hate people at grocery stores, bc i went again today and this happened:

i had the little girl I nanny with me and one of her friends (both 8) and they wanted to go look in the toys while i grabbed a few things. i told them to stay there and i’d be back in just a minute. when i come back, literally like 2 minutes later, there is a man standing right behind them. he’s pretty tall and built and has a hat on so you can’t really see his eyes at all. and he is just standing next to them, not even looking at anything. he has no kids with him either, or a cart, or anything. as soon as i walk up to the girls he looks at me and leaves right away. it was so weird and really rubbed me the wrong way and made me uncomfortable. just a gut feeling told me that there was something off about him, and i rarely feel that. and then he just lingered in the area afterwards. safe to say i did not leave the girls unattended the rest of the trip nor will i ever again. 

That’s so awful. I’m happy and relieved you were there to protect the kids and got outta there safe. At the same time it’s like -what is he capable of doing, what if another kid does not have someone looking after them. That shit is so scary to think about.
